Shine On is a song by the German dance project RIO Shine On is her first single . It was released as a single on July 4th, 2008 and became a summer hit in Central Europe and the Middle East . The single can be found on all RIO albums and is also the title of the first studio album. On May 17, 2019, RIO released a remake of Shine On , which was made in collaboration with the Norwegian hip-hop duo Madcon .

The song hit the charts all over Europe. In the German-speaking countries, it was most successful in Switzerland with 17th place. In Germany it reached number 25, in Austria number 21 and in the Netherlands number 20 in the Dutch Top 40. The song reached the top of the official charts in numerous southern European countries as well as throughout the Middle East. Shine On was also number one on the 2008 annual charts in Dubai and Israel. In Germany, the song reached number 1 in the dance charts and number 99 in the 2008 German annual charts.
