Komodo (Hard Nights) is a song by the German dance project RIO. It was released on September 27, 2013 as a single and download . As the voice for this song, they got the US singer U-Jean , who has already sung many other tracks of the dance project, into the studio. It is based on the song of the same name by Mauro Picotto . The title was first presented on Kontor Top of the Clubs Vol. 60 . A few weeks later, an instrumental version of the song appeared on various samplers, under the title Komodo , which, among other things, should increase the club's success.
Music video
The official music video was uploaded to the official YouTube channel one day after publication, on September 28, 2013. It starts with U-Jean who is in the studio and sings the intro of the song. He can then be seen at an airport. He gets on the plane and opens his laptop. In addition to the instrumental part and the drop, various scenes from live performances and studio work are shown. Another scene shows U-Jean getting on a subway at a train station. It is also shown how he is playing basketball and watching BMX cyclists on a skater track. At the end, fans are shown to whom U-Jean signs autographs and he points to the camera for the last sentence It's All Because of You . After just a few hours, the music video was clicked several thousand times.
