Raúl Holguer López Mayorga
Raúl Holguer López Mayorga (born August 24, 1926 in Mocha ) is former bishop of Latacunga .
Life
Raúl Holguer López Mayorga was ordained a priest on June 29, 1951 . Paul VI appointed him on March 30, 1973 auxiliary bishop in Guaranda and titular bishop of Casae in Numidia .
The bishop of Ambato , Vicente Rodrigo Cisneros Durán , ordained him episcopal on April 29 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were Luigi Accogli , Apostolic Nuncio in Ecuador , and Cardinal Pablo Muñoz Vega S.J. , Archbishop of Quito .
On August 3, 1974, he was appointed coadjutor bishop of Guaranda . After Cándido Rada Senosiáin's SDB retired , he succeeded him on May 24, 1980 as Bishop of Guaranda. On February 19, 2003, Pope John Paul II accepted his age-related resignation.
