José Victoriano Naranjo Tovar

José Victoriano Naranjo Tovar (born July 3, 1941 in Pujilí ) is an Ecuadorian clergyman and emeritus Roman Catholic bishop of Latacunga .

Life

José Victoriano Naranjo Tovar was ordained a priest on July 2, 1965 .

Pope John Paul II appointed him Bishop of Latacunga on February 19, 2003. The episcopal ordination received his his predecessor Raul Holguer López Mayorga on March 25 of that year; Co- consecrators were José Mario Ruiz Navas , Archbishop of Portoviejo , and Néstor Rafael Herrera Heredia , Bishop of Machala .

On November 30, 2016, Pope Francis accepted his age-related resignation.
