Rabia Gülec (born June 5, 1994 in Nuremberg ) is a German Taekwondoin .

At the Taekwondo World Championships in 2013 in Puebla , Mexico , she reached the semifinals with three victories, but lost there against the Australian Carmen Marton and thus won the bronze medal in the weight class up to 62 kilograms. A year later, she was able to repeat this success at the 2014 European Championships in Baku by losing 6:12 in the semi-finals to the Croatian Marina Sumić in the same weight class. At the European Championships in 2016 in Montreux , she also won bronze by losing 3-1 in the semi-finals to Turkish İrem Yaman .

In 2016 she took part in the Taekwondo competitions at the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . In these, she made it to the quarter-finals, but lost there 1: 5 against the Turkish Nur Tatar .

In 2009, 2011 and 2013 Gülec also became German Taekwondo Champion in the weight class up to 62 kilograms; In 2012 she also came third.

Her brother Tahir is also Taekwondoin.
