Radio 4 , Radio Sputnik 4 or RS-4 is a Soviet amateur radio satellite that was developed and built by the central radio club of the DOSAAF . Radio 4 (and also Radio 3 ) did not contain a transponder and was called an experimental satellite.
mission
The satellite was launched on December 17, 1981 together with RS-3 and RS-5 to RS-8 with a Russian Kosmos-3M launcher from the Plesetsk Cosmodrome in Russia. RS3A in Moscow was named as the command station.
