List of radio stations

Radio Alpenwelle is a local radio for the Upper Bavarian districts of Bad Tölz-Wolfratshausen and Miesbach , based in Bad Tölz . The station has been on the air since December 3, 1992. The music format consists mainly of Adult Contemporary , with Bavarian-Alpine folk music being played on Sundays from 11 a.m. to 2 p.m.

The station is 49.8% owned by the Oberbayern newspaper publisher , the rest is divided between three individuals. Together with 29 other local channels such as B. Radio Charivari Rosenheim , Radio Gong , Radio Trausnitz and Radio IN , the advertising on Radio Alpenwelle is marketed by Studio Gong .

Initially, the station was based in Holzkirchen . In the following spring, 1993, the station moved to the Schliersbergalm above Schliersee , making the Alpenwelle, at an altitude of 1,061 meters , the highest radio station in Germany. After the journey to the station had proven impractical in the long term, mainly due to the poor road conditions in winter, the station moved to Bad Tölz in 2002 .
