Radio Emme was a private radio station from Langnau im Emmental for the Emmental region , Entlebuch and the Aare valley .

Radio Emme went on the air in 1997. An important prerequisite for the operation of Radio Emme was the establishment of the “Radio Emme” association on November 16, 1994. The association later became a patrons' association, which financially supports the operation of Radio Emme.

Transmission area

The transmission area comprised coverage area 23 “Emmental” as defined by the Federal Office of Communications (OFCOM). This includes the districts of Signau , Trachselwald , Burgdorf , Konolfingen , Entlebuch as well as the southern part of the district of Willisau and also the communities of Utzenstorf and Fraubrunnen in the district of Fraubrunnen . Radio Emme could be received via FM , cable and the Internet.

Neo 1 and Neo two

Since April 14, 2008 you can hear the successor program Neo 1 on the frequencies of Radio Emme .

The second network, Neo Zwei , broadcasts exclusively folk music, mostly local, via cable, satellite and the Internet .
