Rafael Bardem Solé (born January 10, 1889 in Barcelona , † November 6, 1972 in Madrid ) was a Spanish actor .
Life
Bardem began his acting career in the 1920s as a member of Rosario Pino's theater group and was successful with a number of other ensembles in the following twenty years. As a theater actor, he is one of the legends in Spain. In 1941 he made his debut as a cinema actor and was in demand as a character actor in over 110 films until his death.
Since 1918 he was married to his colleague Matilde Muñoz Sampedro ; her two children, Juan Antonio and Pilar were and are also active in the film business.
