Rafael Bush (* 12. May 1987 in Williston , South Carolina ) is a former American American football player in the National Football League (NFL). He plays for nine seasons in the position of safety and cornerback .

college

Sanford attended South Carolina State University and played for their team, the Bulldogs, in various positions in secondary college football .

NFL

Atlanta Falcons

In the NFL Draft 2010 he was not taken into account, but was then signed by the Atlanta Falcons . He wasn't used in a single game.

Denver Broncos

In October 2011 he was signed by the Denver Broncos , who used him in a total of six games.

New Orleans Saints

In 2012 he moved to the New Orleans Saints and received the number 25, with which his namesake Reggie Bush had previously played. He was now used more often and more regularly and ran repeatedly as a starter in the 2013 and 2014 seasons . Return to the New Orleans Saints

On March 30, 2017, he signed a one-year contract with the New Orleans Saints. In 14 games he managed 23 tackles, a pass defense and a sack .

Buffalo Bills

In March 2018, Bush joined the Buffalo Bills , with whom he signed a two-year deal worth $ 4.5 million. In July 2019, he announced the end of his career after nine years.
