Rafael Infantino Abreu (born August 28, 1984 in La Vega , Dominican Republic ) is a former Colombian track and road cyclist .
Athletic career
Rafael Infantino became the 2004 Pan American champion in the team pursuit and in the individual time trial of the U23 class. In the 2007 season he won a stage at the Giro della Regione Friuli Venezia Giulia , the U23 edition of the Trofeo Matteotti and two sections at the Giro della Valle d'Aosta . The next year he was successful in the third stage of the Giro delle Valli Cuneesi nelle Alpi del Mare. In 2011 he won the Clásico RCN . After winning three stages of the Vuelta a Colombia in 2013 , he ended his cycling career.
After the Tour of Colombia in 2016, Infantino tested positive for the use of the banned substance GHRP-2 and was banned by the Colombian Cycling Association until July 2019.
