Alexander González (cyclist)
Alexander González Peña (born November 1, 1979 in Cali , Valle del Cauca ) is a former Colombian track and road cyclist .
In 2003, Alexander González won the team pursuit at the Track Cycling World Cup in Aguascalientes together with José Serpa , Carlos Alzate and Juan Pablo Forerodie . At the Colombian Championships in Duitama he was national champion in the single pursuit . On the street, González won the prologue at the Vuelta al Valle del Cauca in 2003 . The following year he became the Pan American team pursuit champion. At the 2005 Continental Championships, he finished third in the Madison and in the team pursuit.
