The Raggstadtjoch (also Ragstattjoch) ( 1545 m ) is a peak in the Brandenberg Alps in Tyrol .
topography
The mountain is the most easterly independent main summit of a ridge stretching over 5 km from west to east, south of the Blauberge and north of the Guffert , to which the Schneidjoch ( 1810 m ) and the Abendstein ( 1596 m ) also belong. It has a free summit plateau that offers a good view of the Schinder and the valley of the Brandenberger Ache .
Alpinism
The summit is reached from the Abendstein, which in turn can be reached from the Gufferthütte either via the eastern summit of the Schneidjoch, the Rotwand, or directly via Angeralm and Wildalm in around an hour, via an almost flat ridge path in half an hour. From the valley of the Brandenberger Ache, about halfway between Erzherzog-Johann-Klause and Kaiserhaus, another marked ascent leads in about two hours to the Raggstadtalm, from which the summit can be climbed in a few minutes.
