The Rahin is a river in France that runs in the Haute-Saône department in the Bourgogne-Franche-Comté region . It rises in the South Vosges , in the Ballons des Vosges Regional Nature Park . Its source is located below the Col du Stalon , in the municipality of Plancher-les-Mines . The Rahin overcomes some steep steps in its upper reaches with waterfalls worth seeing, such as the Saut de la Truite and the Cascade de Crémillot , generally drains in a south-westerly direction and flows after 51 kilometers in the municipality of Les Aynans as a left tributary into a tributary of the Ognon .
