history
Raiffeisen-Volksbank Donauwörth eG was founded in 1909. The original cooperative was the former Raiffeisenbank Riedlingen. In 1982 the Raiffeisenbank Riedlingen merged with the Raiffeisenbanks in Auchsesheim-Nordheim and Wörnitzstein to form the Donauwörther Raiffeisenbank. In 1988 the Raiffeisenbank Mertingen and in 1989 the Raiffeisenbank Tapfheim merged with the Donauwörther Raiffeisenbank.
In 1992 the Donauwörther Raiffeisenbank merged with the Volksbank Donauwörth and the Raiffeisenbank Bäumenheim-Oberndorf. Since then the bank has been operating as Raiffeisen-Volksbank Donauwörth eG. Volksbank Donauwörth had already taken on Raiffeisenbank Monheim two years earlier . The Raiffeisenbank Bäumenheim-Oberndorf was founded in 1980 through the merger of the Rbk. Trees home with the Rbk. Oberndorf emerged.
Since then, further mergers have taken place. Raiffeisenbank Buchdorf was added in 1994, Raiffeisenbank Tagmersheim in 1997 and Raiffeisenbank Harburg in 2000 . In 2004, the company merged with Raiffeisenbank Höchstädt and the surrounding area. This was created in 1991 through the merger of Raiffeisenbank Höchstädt, Raiffeisenbank Finningen and Raiffeisenbank Schwenningen - Blindheim .
In 2019 the bank merged with Raiffeisenbank Wittislingen eG.
