history

On November 14, 1900, the Grafing parish loan association was founded at the suggestion of the Grafing brewery owner Josef Schlederer and the businessman Franz X. Arnold. In 1940 the merger with the savings and loan bank Ebersberg, founded in 1925, took place and at the same time the name was changed to Volksbank Grafing eGmbH. In the following decades, the bank continued to merge, including with the Raiffeisenkassen Straussdorf and Frauenneuharting. The last merger to date with Raiffeisenbank Glonn-Aßling-Steinhöring eG took place in June 2005. Since then, the bank has been operating under the name Raiffeisen-Volksbank Ebersberg eG.
