Rainer Schorm

Rainer Schorm (born August 9, 1965 in Wehr (Baden) ) is a German writer and graphic designer .

Life

Schorm grew up in Wehr (Baden) and attended the Theodor-Heuss-Gymnasium in Schopfheim . He did his basic military service . After a few semesters law at the Albert-Ludwigs-University of Freiburg he studied until at Freiburg graphic school (now merged to form the School of Graphic Design & Art Freiburg ) Visual Communication (Department of Graphic Design ). He worked in an advertising agency until 1995 and then went into business for himself. His graphics in the field of fantasy were nominated for the Kurd-Laßwitz Prize in 2008.

Since 1997 he has been a public relations officer for an institute in Münster.

He has also been a freelance writer since 2007. Here, too, he mostly works in the field of fantasy and has published 50 short stories and various novels, some under a pseudonym. He wrote 27 novels for the Irrlicht and Gaslicht series . He is also responsible for 19 novels of the Perry-Rhodan reinterpretation NEO . Schorm also occasionally writes lyrics for bands.
