Ralf Brockhausen (born November 1, 1898 in Reval , Estonia , † April 26, 1945 in Berlin ) was a German politician ( NSDAP ).

Live and act

After graduating from high school , which he passed at the Knight and Cathedral School in Reval , Ralf Brockhausen studied medicine in Dorpat for two semesters . During the First World War Brockhausen took part as a war volunteer in the 1st field artillery regiment von Holtzendorff No. 8. In the immediate post-war period Brockhausen fought with a volunteer corps in the Baltic States .

Brockhausen settled in 1920 as a merchant for three years in the German Empire . This was followed by a three-and-a-half year stay abroad. He returned to Germany in 1927, where he worked first in Hamburg and later in Gdansk for five years .

Brockhausen initially worked for the NSDAP for two years in Danzig. On October 1, 1933 he was appointed head of the Reichsleitung (area inspector). In addition, on May 8, 1934, he was assigned to the staff of "Deputy Leader" Rudolf Hess as a representative of the party leadership with the rank of Reich Main Office Leader . In October 1936 he finally took on the task of special commissioner for special use on the von Hess staff. From March 1936 until the end of the Nazi regime, Brockhausen was a member of the National Socialist Reichstag , in which he represented constituency 2 (Berlin West). In May 1940 Brockhausen was appointed representative for the Reichsgau Wartheland in Berlin and from July 1941 took on tasks for the occupied eastern territories. As a member of the SS , he achieved the rank of Standartenführer in 1943 .

Brockhausen was killed at the end of April 1945 during the Battle of Berlin .
