Ralf Palik (born September 2, 1990 in Erlabrunn ) is a former German luge athlete .

The sports soldier Palik has been luge since 2002. He started for the WSC Erzgebirge Oberwiesenthal club . At the German championships in 2010 and 2011 he finished sixth, and in 2012 he improved to fifth place. In January 2011 he made his debut at his home track in Altenberg , where he immediately finished sixth, in the Luge World Cup . Since the winter of 2011/2012 , Palik has regularly participated in World Cup races. With second place on the track in Winterberg , he achieved a podium finish for the first time on January 21, 2012. His first World Cup victory was on February 9, 2013 with the team relay in Lake Placid .

His best placement in the overall World Cup was fourth in the 2015/16 season . That winter he also won the silver medal at the 2016 World Championships and the bronze medal in the sprint competition.

Palik was a sports soldier in the Bundeswehr sports promotion group in Frankenberg, Saxony . In November 2018 he announced his resignation.
