Ralph Kok (born October 18, 1967 ) is a retired Dutch tennis player .

Career

Kok was first placed in the tennis world rankings in 1986. In 1989 he reached the semi-finals at the Challenger tournament in Graz, as well as the quarter-finals in Munich. In the following year he reached the main draw of the Grand Slam tournament at Wimbledon . There he failed in the first round encounter against Dan Goldie in three sets (7: 5 - 6: 1 - 7: 5). At the $ 600,000 Grand Prix tournament in Rotterdam , he defeated the German Patrik Kühnen (6: 4 - 6: 4) in the first round of the tournament in 1993 . In the second round, however, he was eliminated against Omar Camporese . His highest career placement in the world tennis rankings in singles reached Kok on July 10, 1989 with the 243rd place. In the double ranking he was listed on March 20, 1989 at rank 306.

Today Kok is the trainer of Anastasia Yakimova from Belarus and Arantxa Rus from the Netherlands . In 2007 Kok, who lives in Gran Canaria, played in the men's team of the Lintorfer TC .
