Raman Andreyevich Hrabarenka ( Belarusian Раман Андрэевіч Грабарэнка , Russian Роман Андреевич Граборенко Roman Andreyevich Graborenko * 24. August 1992 in Mogilev ) is a Belarusian ice hockey player , who at the since May 2019 White Tigers Liberec from the Czech Extraliga is under contract.
Career
Raman Hrabarenka began his career as a hockey player with the Philadelphia Revolution, for which he was active in the 2009/10 season in the Eastern Junior Hockey League. The 2010/11 season spent the defender in Canada's top junior league Ligue de hockey junior majeur du Québec with the Cape Breton Screaming Eagles . With the Screaming Eagles he also began the following season before moving to the Voltigeurs de Drummondville in January 2012 within the LHJMQ .
In the 2012/13 season he played for the Albany Devils in the American Hockey League (AHL) and knew how to convince, so that the New Jersey Devils equipped him with an NHL entry contract in July 2013. For the time being, however, the defender stayed in the AHL and completed two full seasons there before making his debut for the New Jersey Devils in the National Hockey League on April 9, 2015 .
After the 2015/16 season, his contract expired and Hrabarenka was initially without a club. In December 2016 he decided to return to Europe when he signed a contract with HK Dinamo Minsk from the Continental Hockey League until the end of the season . At the beginning of the following season he was under contract with Neftechimik Nizhnekamsk , but switched to the Chinese KHL participant Kunlun Red Star in October 2017 . In May 2019 he signed a contract with Bílí Tygři Liberec from the Czech Extraliga .
International
For Belarus , Hrabarenka took part in the junior division of the U18 Junior World Championship 2008 , the U18 Junior World Championship of Division I in 2009 and the U20 Junior World Championship of Division IA 2012 . In the senior sector, he was in his country's squad for the first time at the 2012 World Cup .
