Ramillies ( Walloon Ramiêye ) is a municipality in the Belgian province of Walloon Brabant in the Walloon Region . It is divided into the five districts Autre-Église , Bomal , Geest-Gérompont-Petit-Rosière , Grand-Rosière-Hottomont , Huppaye , Mont-Saint-André and Ramillies-Offus .

Ramillies became famous for one of the most important battles in the War of the Spanish Succession , the Battle of Ramillies on May 23, 1706.
