Ramon Bejarano

Ramon Bejarano (born July 17, 1969 in Laredo , Texas ) is an American Roman Catholic clergyman and auxiliary bishop in San Diego .

Life

Ramon Bejarano studied from 1989 to 1992 at the Diocesan Seminary of the Archdiocese of Tijuana and then at Mount Angel Seminary in Oregon City . On August 15, 1998, Bishop Donald William Montrose donated him the sacrament of ordination for the Diocese of Stockton .

After ordination, he worked in pastoral care, most recently as pastor in Modesto since 2008 . He was a member of the Council of Priests and the College of Consultors of the Stockton Diocese.

Pope Francis appointed him auxiliary bishop in San Diego and titular bishop of Carpi on February 27, 2020 . The Bishop of San Diego, Robert Walter McElroy , ordained him episcopal on July 14 of that year . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of San Antonio , Gustavo García-Siller MSpS , and the Bishop of Stockton, Myron Joseph Cotta .
