The Ramschelbach is a good three-kilometer forest stream in the local church glues in district Südwestpfalz in the Palatinate Forest , bounded by the Großkirchtal shortly after after about Western run Schwarzbachtalweiher from the left in the Schwarzenbach flows.

The Ramschelbach rises about 1.2 km west of the Mosisberg summit ( 610 m above sea level ) at about 490 m above sea level. NHN at a fork in the forest between the Heltersberg (approx. 595 m above sea level ) in the north and the Badischköpfchen ( 595.6 m above sea level ) in the south. It runs through its gently winding forest valley Großkirchtal between the ridges of Hoher Heltersberg on the right and Kirchberg on the left, roughly westwards. After a 3.3 km run, it flows a stone's throw below the dam of the Schwarzbachtalweiher near the Leimen / Heltersberg / Trippstadt triangle from the left into the upper Schwarzbach .
Catchment area
The approximately 3.1 km² catchment area lies in the area of the local community of Leimen and in the Palatinate Forest Nature Park and is completely forested.

The “A. Müller larch”, a large old larch, stands in the source area of the brook .
