Randolph is a municipality in Rich County and its county seat in the north of the US state of Utah on the border with Wyoming .

Randolph is located above the Bear River in a remote part of the Bear River Range at an elevation of 1,917 meters and is accessible via the Woodruff to Diamondville road .

Around 755 inhabitants live in the small town, which covers a community area of 2.6 km² (projection for 2018). The population determined as part of the US Census 2010 was 464, a decrease of four percent compared to the US Census 2000 .

history
Randolph was founded on March 14, 1870 by a group of Mormon pioneers under Randolph H. Stewart , after whom the place was named.
education
Randolph has two schools, the South Rich Elementary School (approximately 100 students) and the Rich High (approximately 150 students).
Attractions
In the center of town is a church belonging to the denominational church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints , the Randolph Tabernacle . There is a small cemetery and a park on the western edge of the village. Randolph is the seat of the county court and is housed in a simple, modern structure.
Personalities
David M. Kennedy (1905-1996), who was Treasury Secretary of the United States between 1969 and 1971, comes from Randolph .
