Rich County is a county in the state of Utah in the United States . The county seat and largest city is Randolph .

The Rich County covers an area of 2,813 km², of which 150 square kilometers are water. It is bordered clockwise by counties: Licoln County, Wyoming, Uinta County, Wyoming, Summit County , Morgan County , Weber County , Cache County, and Bear Lake County, Idaho.
Bear Lake State Park is to the north. The Bear River Valleys are located in the eastern part of the county and reach heights of 1,800 meters. This area is one of the coldest areas in the state of Utah. The record in Woodruff was −45 ° C in winter and 32 ° C in summer. The southern portion of Bear Lake is in Rich County.

Rich County was founded in 1868. It was named after Charles C. Rich , an early Mormon apostle.
