Beaver County is a county in the state of Utah in the United States . The county seat is Beaver . In 2010, Beaver County had 6,629 residents.

According to the US Census Bureau, Beaver County covers an area of 6,714 square kilometers, of which 6 square kilometers are water. On the eastern border of the county are the Tushar Mountains , which reach heights of up to 3600 meters. It is bordered clockwise by counties: Millard County , Iron County , Sevier County , Piute County, and Lincoln County (Nevada). The Beaver and Manderfield farm areas get their water from this region.

Beaver County was founded in 1856. It got the name because of the numerous beavers in this region .

Beaver County had a population of 6,005 people as of the 2000 census . There were 1982 households and 1530 families. The population density was 1 person per square kilometer. The racial the population was composed of 93.24% White, 0.27% African American, 0.90% Native American, 0.62% Asian, 0.08% Pacific Islander, and 3.13% other races Groups; 1.77% were from two or more races. Hispanic or Latino of any race was 5.55% of the population.
Of the 1982 households, 41.30% had children and adolescents under the age of 18 living with them. 67.10% were married couples living together, 7.00% were single mothers. 22.80% were not families. 20.50% were single households and 11.40% had someone living there who was 65 years of age or over. The average household size was 2.93 and the average family size was 3.42 people.
For the entire county, the population was composed of 33.50% residents under 18 years of age, 9.40% between 18 and 24 years of age, 24.00% between 25 and 44 years of age, 19.20% between 45 and 64 years of age 13.90% were 65 years of age or over. The median age was 31 years. For every 100 females there were 106.00 males, and for every 100 females aged 18 and over there were 106.40 males.
The median income for a household in the 34,544 USD , and the median income for a family was 39,253 USD. Males had a median income of $ 31,083 versus $ 17,635 for females. The per capita income was $ 14,957. 8.30% of the population and 6.20% of families are below the poverty line. 9.00% of them were under 18 years of age and 9.00% were 65 years of age or older.
