Raphael Schneider (born March 21, 1970 in Dortmund ) is a German actor .

Life

Raphael Schneider is the youngest of five children of the painter Friedrich JH Schneider and his wife Angela. He has been an enthusiastic dancer and singer since childhood. During his school days he worked as an extra in various operas and operettas. He also attended the Stage School of Music, Dance and Drama in Hamburg from 1990 to 1994 . In 1990, however, he had an accident while training and had to give up his dancing career. Nevertheless, he made his diploma as a musical performer in 1993. In spring 1994 he got a role in the musical Cyrano at the Theater des Westens .

From January 27, 1995 (episode 667) to April 26, 2000 (episode 1969) he played the role of Andreas 'Andy' Lehmann in Gute Zeiten, Bad Zeiten . He was eliminated through serial death. Actually, Schneider had left the series in favor of his music career, but his father died in the summer of 2000, so that Schneider needed the time to mourn and use the time to manage the estate.

With the fictional band Chak, which played a leading role at GZSZ in 1995, Schneider released the single Summer Party, which was placed at number 96 in the German charts for a week.

Before his departure from Gute Zeiten, Schleier Zeiten , Schneider and his band Private Life (founded in 1995), which consisted of the brothers Philippe and Michel alongside him as a singer, released the single Rain on February 28, 2000 . The single made it to number 86 in the German single charts and stayed there for two weeks. The song Self Control was previously featured on the GZSZ compilation Lucky Days . In the RTL film Heimliche Küsse - Verliebt in ein Sexsymbol (1999) - broadcast on March 22, 2000 - the band took on a larger role, but was expanded to include a member - Jürgen Lehmann as singer Tom Meurer - and in private Affair renamed. Schneider became a guitarist in the role of Rico . Schneider has been taking singing lessons from Jonathan Kinsler since 2003. In 2006, 2007 and 2010 he played in the musical Cabaret in the Bar der Vernunft in Berlin.
