Ravenswood is an American mystery series and an offshoot of the Pretty Little Liars series . The series first aired on ABC Family between October 22, 2013 and February 4, 2014 . Shortly after the broadcast ended, the series was discontinued after one season and ten episodes.

The series is about five teenagers in the fictional town of Ravenswood, Pennsylvania. Their lives are intertwined by a deadly curse that has plagued their city for generations. You will have to dig in the city's dark past to solve the mysterious curse.

At the request of his girlfriend Hanna Marin ( Ashley Benson , Pretty Little Liars ), Caleb Rivers, who actually lives in Rosewood, Pennsylvania, stays in the allegedly cursed neighboring town of Ravenswood to meet a girl he was on a bus to on the way to Ravenswood met to help in her search for her only uncle. Her name is Miranda Collins. She and Caleb have a few things in common: they both lived in foster families who hated them and nobody cared about them. They both quickly became friends on the bus. On the same night they both found two gravestones on which they are depicted, along with their names and alleged dates of death.

When they finally find Raymond Collins, Miranda's uncle, he seems very cold and heartless. He hardly cares that his niece wanted to find him. Carla Grunwald, Mister Collins' assistant, lets Miranda and Caleb into the house and she offers them both to stay for one night. You think about it and Caleb agrees. Since he wants to stay there tonight, Miranda cannot leave him alone.

Mister Collins is a coroner. While he does his work downstairs in the basement, Miranda is in her birth mother's old room reading books. There she hears a few noises and when she looks in the mirror opposite, she sees a girl monster figure looking out of the curtain. She screeches and Caleb runs in. Both discover a damp spot where this being was. Caleb says it must be just a misunderstanding and that this stain is a leak. When they look out the window, they see two teenagers with their mother at a tombstone. Olivia and Luke Matheson stand next to their desperate mother Rochelle, who tries with a sponge to clean the tombstone of their dead husband, who was the mayor of Ravenwood. Half the city claims they murdered him and they say they have nothing to do with it. Miranda Collins dies in the episode Death and the Maiden .
