Raymond Dominique Carrerot OP (born June 1, 1863 in Pamiers , France , † December 14, 1933 ) was a French religious and Roman Catholic bishop of Porto Nacional in Brazil .

Life

Raymond Dominique Carrerot joined the religious order of the Dominicans at and received on September 1, 1886, the sacrament of Holy Orders .

On August 26, 1912 appointed him Pope Pius X to the titular bishop of Verinopolis and for the first prelates of Santíssima Conceição do Araguaia . The Archbishop of Toulouse , Jean-Augustin Germain , donated him episcopal ordination on October 10 of the same year ; Co- consecrators were the Bishop of Agen , Charles-Paul Sagot du Vauroux , and the Bishop of Pamiers , Martin-Jérôme Izart .

Pope Benedict XV appointed him on July 3, 1920 Bishop of Porto Nacional. After his appointed predecessor resigned without having received episcopal ordination, he was its first actual bishop almost five years after the establishment of the diocese.
