Raymond Vissers (born August 6, 1973 ) is a Dutch former football goalkeeper and today's goalkeeping coach for the honorary division Willem II from Tilburg .

career

Vissers began his football career with the amateur club OSC'45 from 's-Hertogenbosch . At the age of 15, the youngster moved to PSV in Eindhoven . Up to the age of 21 he went through all of the club's junior teams. He then belonged to the PSV first division squad under coach Kees Rijvers . He was the third goalkeeper in the Eredivisie for two years, but never got beyond this role behind Hans van Breukelen , Stanley Menzo or Ronald Waterreus . When he couldn't get along with new coach Dick Advocaat , he left PSV and began a career as a businessman. On the side he played for a while at the amateur club DESK in Kaatsheuvel . When that was no longer compatible with his job, he became a goalkeeping coach. He first worked for the amateur clubs Emplina and BVV in 's-Hertogenbosch, then with the professionals of FC Den Bosch, before returning to PSV as a youth coach. He came to RKC Waalwijk via FC Zwolle in 2006 , where he was active for four years. He then moved to Willem II for the 2011/12 season , where in April 2011 he and Kotrainer John Feskens took over the interim exercise management of the first team from Gert Heerkes on leave . But even Feskens and Vissers could not prevent the Tilburg's descent into the Eerste Divisie .
