The shipping company operates passenger and cargo shipping. In addition to excursions and tours with the Harle Kurier Warrings operates on behalf of the Deutsche Bahn belonging shipping and Wangerooge island railroad ferry services between the island Wangerooge and the mainland port of Harlesiel . The two ferries Harlingerland (ship) and Wangerooge (ship) are used here. The Harle Reef and the Harle Gatt serve to supply the islands of Wangerooge and Spiekeroog with freight and supplies.

history

The Warrings family has worked as boatmen in Carolinensiel for several generations. Bernhard Warrings started the passenger traffic to Wangerooge, which is still operated today, on behalf of the Deutsche Reichsbahn. In the course of time, other activities such as excursions and island supply were added. Since its founding in, Warrings has also been active in various other business areas. This is how the direction finders Harle Echo and Harle Priel were operated. The tankers lying at the Wilhelmshaven tank discharge bridge were supplied with the Harle Füer and the Harle Tief . With the seaside resort ships Wilhelmshaven (ship) (from Wilhelmshaven) and Helgoland (built in 1962) and Helgoland (built in 1972) (from Bremerhaven ) as well as the monohull high-speed ferry Speedy (from Bremen and Bremerhaven), Warrings was also active in the seaside resort traffic to Helgoland .
