The Wangerooge (besides Harlingerland ) one of the two regularly between the North Sea island Wangerooge and Harlesiel used ferries . Is operated the ship on behalf of the Deutsche Bahn belonging SIW shipping and Wangerooge island railroad through the shipping company Warrings ,

The ship is a pure passenger ferry. Only the passengers' checked luggage is transported in small containers on the foredeck. The small containers are loaded onto the forecastle with a crane mounted on the ship and later onto the island railway in Wangerooge .

Despite the shallow draft of the Wangerooge , the ferry connection Wangerooge↔Harlesiel is tide-dependent .
