Reeve Carney
Reeve Jefferson Carney (born April 18, 1983 in West Village , Manhattan , New York City , USA ) is an American actor and singer - songwriter . His best known actor role is that of Dorian Gray in the television series Penny Dreadful . Carney is the great-nephew of Oscar winner Art Carney .
Life
Carney was born in the West Village , Manhattan , New York City , USA and has two siblings, a sister, Paris, and a brother, Zane. He starred in the musical Spider-Man: Turn Off the Dark on Broadway for three years . Since 2019 he can be seen as Orpheus in Hadestown (Tony Award Best Musical) at the Walter Kerr Theater on Broadway.
