Petkov government

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

The Petkov government was formed after the general election in November 2021 . It was elected by the Bulgarian parliament, the Narodno Sabranie , on December 13, 2021 and succeeded the Borisov III government , which lost the parliamentary election in April 2021 , as the regular government . After the elections in April and July 2021 , however, the Bulgarian President Rumen Radew appointed the provisional governments of Janev I and Janew IIused after none of the parties could form a new coalition and secure a majority in parliament. Thus, the Petkov government is also the direct successor government to the Janev II government. The Petkov government is headed by Kiril Petkow as prime minister and a four-party alliance. In addition to the fight against corruption , the delayed judicial reform, digitization , coping with rising electricity prices and the corona crisis as well as ecology are the government's priorities.
