Mirek Topolánek II government

The Topolánek II government formed the government of the Czech Republic from January 9, 2007 to May 8, 2009 . It consisted of a black-green coalition of the parties ODS , KDU-ČSL and SZ under Prime Minister Mirek Topolánek . It replaced the Mirek Topolánek I government (sole government ODS). It was followed in May 2009 by the Jan Fischer government (interim government made up of experts and senior officials, proposal for occupation / parliamentary majority: ODS and ČSSD ) after the Prime Minister lost a vote of confidence in parliament on March 24, 2009 . In the first half of 2009 until it was replaced, the members of the Topolánek government took over the presidency of the Council of the European Union during the Czech EU Council Presidency .
