In 1992, the 1.67 meter tall Schneizlreuther Häusl won the giant slalom and the Super-G junior world champion. In the World Cup she won a downhill run in Cortina d'Ampezzo in the 1992/93 season and came third in the Super G in Lake Louise . The highlight of the career of the Federal Border Guard Häusl was winning the Downhill World Cup in 2000, which she achieved without a single win, but thanks to a high level of seasonal performance (five times 2nd place, plus another 4 top ten places). Her overall victory at the final in Bormio on March 15, 2000, however, was overshadowed by a fall after crossing the finish line in which she broke her right lower leg (tibia and fibula). After another cruciate ligament tear in February 2005, she ended her career. On May 4th, 2013 she married the DSV trainer and vocational school teacher Frank Leins.
