Reginald Dehoff

Reginald Paul Dehoff (born July 7, 1947 in Worms , † December 11, 2006 in Mannheim ) was a German actor and singer.

Life

At the age of nine, Dehoff began vocal training. At the age of 16 he began an administration apprenticeship and was subsequently employed as an administrative officer. From 1973 to 1978 he worked part-time as an actor / director at the Small Theater in Worms, where he worked as artistic director for the following eleven years. Dehoff completed his studies in music history . After 25 years of service, in 1990 he left the public service as a city inspector.

In the following seven seasons he was a member of the National Theater Mannheim . He worked as a lecturer at the Mannheim Theater Academy from 1995 to 1998. Parallel to his work as a director, actor, singer, voice actor and journalist, he wrote freelance newspaper reports for the Rhein-Neckar-Zeitung in Heidelberg from 1996 to 2006 .

The press awarded him ante mortem the honorary title “Mannheimer Kleinkunst-Fürst”. In spring 2006 he was awarded the Culture Prize of the Association of Self-Employed People.
