Regula Zürcher

Regula Martha Zürcher , b. Scalabrin , (born January 5, 1969 ) is a former Swiss sprinter and middle-distance runner .

At the European Athletics Championships in 1990 in Split, she was eliminated over 400 meters in the preliminary run and came in sixth place in the 4 x 400 meter relay . At the World Athletics Championships in 1991 and the 1992 Olympic Games , she did not get past the first round with the Swiss relay.

In 1993 she failed at the World Indoor Athletics Championships in Toronto over 400 meters in the run. At the World Championships in Stuttgart , another preliminary round in the individual competition was followed by eighth place with the Swiss 4 x 400 meter relay, which is the current one with Helen Burkart , Zürcher, Marquita Brillante and Kathrin Lüthi with 3: 28.52 minutes Swiss record set.

Other individual starts took place over 400 meters at the European Athletics Indoor Championships in 1994 in Paris and over 800 meters at the 1995 World Championships in Gothenburg and the 1997 World Indoor Championships in Paris, without getting beyond the preliminary round.

She has been Swiss champion over 400 meters four times (1990, 1993, 1995, 1996).
