Reichsbahndirektion Münster (Westf)
The Reichsbahndirektion Münster was an administrative district of the Deutsche Reichsbahn .
Jurisdiction
The area of this Reichsbahndirektion extended in Prussia from the East Frisian North Sea coast over the Münsterland and the western Westphalia to the edge of the Rhenish-Westphalian industrial area / Ruhr area and, after the dissolution of the Oldenburg directorate , over most of the country of the same name .

- the main part of the former Hamburg-Venloer Bahn : Wesel - Münster - Osnabrück - ( Bremen )
- the Hamm - Münster - Rheine - Emden - Norddeich route
- the route Löhne - Osnabrück - Rheine - Bad Bentheim - ( Netherlands )
- the route ( Hude ) - Oldenburg (Oldenburg) - Leer - (Netherlands)
- the route Osnabrück - Cloppenburg - Oldenburg (Oldenburg) - Wilhelmshaven
history
The Reichsbahndirektion Münster was the successor to the Royal Prussian Railway Directorate Münster , which was founded during the reform of the Prussian State Railways in 1895. From 1949, after the establishment of the Deutsche Bundesbahn , it was succeeded by the Federal Railway Directorate Münster / Westf .
