Reinsdorf is a district of the municipality Apelern in the Samtgemeinde Rodenberg in the district of Schaumburg in the state of Lower Saxony .

geography

Reinsdorf is located on the eastern edge of the Bückeberge in the Deister-Süntel valley . In the natural division of Germany , it gives its name to the sub-region "Reinsdorfer Hügelland" (region 378.04) of the Calenberger Bergland (region 378). The Salzbach flows through Reinsdorf and flows further east into the Rodenberger Aue . To the west of Reinsdorf lies the Great Karl, at a height of 301  m above sea level. NN .

Reinsdorf is divided into two locations, the village in the north on the Salzbach and the pasture in the south.

history

Reinsdorf was first mentioned in a document in 1162. On March 1, 1974, Reinsdorf was incorporated into the municipality of Apelern. Reinsdorf has no local council. With a good 450 inhabitants, Reinsdorf is the second largest district of the municipality of Apelern after the core town.

The former school house in the village was used by the volunteer fire brigade until 2011 and then as a cultural project. The clubhouse of shooters camaraderie Reinsdorf in the district of pasture was the municipality in 2018 for use as a community center passed.

Attractions

There are 13 listed buildings and courtyards in Reinsdorf . Including the memorial and a forest farm on the edge of the Bückeberg, now used as a beekeeping.
