Reitzenhagen is a district of the city of Bad Wildungen in the northern Hessian district of Waldeck-Frankenberg .
Geographical location
The place is located directly on the western development of Bad Wildungen and borders the Kellerwald-Edersee National Park . The Wilde (Eder) flows through the village . The Bilstein cliffs are near Reitzenhagen . The Bilstein spring is located in the village itself.
history
In 1927 Reitzenhagen belonged to the Bad Wildungen district court and the Korbach tax office. In 1933 the village had a total of 122 inhabitants. Reitzenhagen was incorporated into the town of Bad Wildungen on May 1, 1940.
