Baptismal font of the church in Frebershausen

The roots of the early Gothic village church go back to the 13th century. The choir was probably built as a pilgrimage chapel. The nave was added between 1450 and 1470. It was finally completed in 1590. The frescoes in the interior, restored for the first time in 1931, date from the 14th century. A font from 1593 is still in use today. The wooden pulpit was rebuilt in 1900, only part of the lower parapet with the year 1692 remains of the original pulpit. In 2007 the roof structure and the ceiling of the nave were completely renovated.
