René Creemers (born January 14, 1959 in Nijmegen ) is a Dutch rock-pop drummer, composer and author; Creemers teaches at the Arnhem Conservatory , the Tilburg Rock Academy and the Drummers Institute in Düsseldorf . Together with Wim de Vries he formed the duo Drumbassadors .

Life

From 1977 to 1982 Cremers studied at the Conservatory. During this time he became a member of the band Blowbeat , founded by Ton Engels and Cor Mutsers , with whom he toured Germany, Switzerland and Austria. In 1985 her first album, Hands Up! In 1989 the album Blowbeat followed , which was particularly successful in Germany.

With the singer Margriet Eshuys he went on three tours between 1993 and 1996 and recorded the albums In the Wee Small Hours and Shadow Dancing . In 1994 he produced the video A Matter of Pride . In 1997 he recorded the album PARaDOX with bass guitarist Pieter Douma . In 1998 the album Break the Seal was created with Marcel van de Beeten , Pieter Douma, Bert van den Brink and Robert Pijnenburg . With Martin Verdonk , Ben Gerritsen , Reno Steba and Maik Schott , he founded the world music group Martin Verdonk's Tribal Fusion in 1999 . In 2000 he founded the duo Drumbassadors with Wim de Vries. In 1998 he worked as a sideman on Rich Wyman's album Where We Stand , and in 2003 on Denise Jannah's album Different Colors .
