René Schmidt (cyclist)
René Schmidt (* the 30th March 1984 ) is a former German downhill - mountain bike racer and since 2013 riding technique trainer of the German Cross Country Mountain Bike National Team .
His greatest successes in downhill include top ten placements at the German Championships in 2009, 2010, 2011 and 2013, the nomination for the 2010 World Cup in the USA and the 2010 European Championship in Norway .
As a driving technique trainer , he looked after the German national cross country team. a. at the World Championships in 2013, 2014, 2015, 2016 and 2017 as well as at the 2016 Summer Olympics .
