René Zey

René Zey (born June 12, 1955 in Essen ) is a German author .

Life

René Zey studied German and philosophy in Essen, Bonn and Münster (1st and 2nd state exams ). From 1986 to 1991 Zey was the responsible editor at Harenberg , Lübbe and DuMont . In 1991 he founded the Königsdorfer Medienhaus (design and production of non-fiction books for German and international publishers). Since 1991 he has written over 70 encyclopedias and non-fiction books for publishers such as Rowohlt , Ullstein , Ueberreuter , Europa , Falken , Mosaik and Weltbild . Licensed editions have been published in Poland , the Czech Republic , Estonia and PR China , among others . In 2006 he founded the Internet portal "Designlexikon International".
