Renate Dodell

Renate Dodell (born November 7, 1952 in Seeshaupt ) is a Bavarian politician ( CSU ) and a former member of the Bavarian State Parliament .

education and profession

After graduating from high school in 1972, Renate Dodell studied economics / geography at the grammar school in Weilheim for teaching at secondary schools in Munich . In 1977 she passed the second state examination. After three years as a teacher and a family break, she was self-employed with an accounting office from 1987 to 1994 .

Renate Dodell is Roman Catholic, divorced and the mother of three children.

politics

Renate Dodell has been a member of the CSU and the Women's Union since 1974 . In the CSU she holds a number of board positions. From 1991 to 1995 she was CSU local chairman in Penzberg and from 1994 to 2009 she was CSU district chairman in the Weilheim-Schongau district . Upper Bavaria .

From 1996 to 2009 Renate Dodell was district councilor in the Weilheim-Schongau district . She was a member of the Bavarian State Parliament from October 17, 1994 to October 7, 2013 , where she was deputy chairman of the CSU parliamentary group from 2003. She represented the Weilheim-Schongau constituency ( constituency of Upper Bavaria ).

In 2004, 2009, 2010 and 2012 Renate Dodell was a member of the 12th, 13th, 14th and 15th Federal Assemblies .

Other offices

Renate Dodell was deputy chairwoman of the board of trustees of the Bavarian State Foundation , has been chairwoman of the hospice association in Pfaffenwinkel since 2011 and a member of many local associations such as the Bavarian Red Cross , Heimatverband Lech-Isar-Land e. V., Freundeskreis Freilichtmuseum Südbayern and the Bavarian State Association for Homeland Care.

Awards

On July 14, 2005 Renate Dodell was awarded the Bavarian Order of Merit.
