The Rennes is a river in France that runs in the Loir-et-Cher department in the Center-Val de Loire region . It rises in the southern municipality of Sassay , drains in an arc from south over west to northwest and flows into the Cher after about 21 kilometers in the municipality of Thésée as a right tributary . In its central section, the Rennes runs parallel to the A85 motorway .
