The Renon is a river in France that runs in the Ain department in the Auvergne-Rhône-Alpes region . It rises in the municipality of Versailleux from the lake Étang Chapelier , initially drains through the natural landscape of Dombes , which is rich in lakes , generally heads north-west to north and flows after 41 kilometers in the municipality of Vonnas as a left tributary into a tributary of the Veyle .
