Pension Insurance Agency

from Wikipedia, the free encyclopedia

Pension insurance carriers in Germany are the institutions that provide statutory pension insurance benefits on the basis of Book VI of the Social Code . The statutory pension insurance carriers operate under the common name Deutsche Rentenversicherung .

A distinction must be made between the (statutory) pension insurance funds and the private pension insurers who provide benefits on the basis of private insurance contracts, as well as the pension funds within the framework of professional care , which provide pension benefits for members of independent professions that are eligible for membership on the basis of mandatory statutory membership.
